Hi and welcome! Please fix a few things in your technical specs and then make a test 2:
1) We need a mono track; yours is in stereo (two tracks)
2) we need 128 kbps bit rate constant; yours is now at 256 kbps
3) we aim at a volume of around 89 dB; your volume is now at 77.2 decibels .

I can't give any advice on how to fix these in Sound Forge, we mostly work with Audacity. But there should be a volume gain of some kind where you can increase the volume either at the mic or in the software. We recommend the Checker program to see your volume after making the MP3 https://youtu.be/QKVOYsaDoRo Hang in there, don't give up, you are almost there!

Please make another test, call it TEST 2, upload and put the link here in this therad where I will see it quickly! Your voice is very nice and we want you to record! :D

So, please fix those tech items, increase the volume and upload

I re-recorded using Audacity, but my other equipment is all the same. Hope this is better!

Yes, that is fine all your tech specs are as specified and your volume is within our parameters. So you have the OK to record lots and lots !! One note for future reference, there is a lot of background noise in the test. You will probably remove this for real recordings but I just wanted to make note of it. Welcome again and have fun in Readers Wanted forums 1
