Anxious to hear what you've done. If you would refer again to the instructions, please, you'll see that your recording should be uploaded as an mp3 file.catherinely27 wrote: ↑October 8th, 2020, 1:47 pmHere's my 1 minute test:

Hi Catherine. I am going to jump in here and give some feedback. Your voice is very nice! Your second test is indeed in MP3 format now, great. But you will need to fix a few minor setting:
1) We need a bit rate of 128 kbps constant; yours is now at 101 kbps variable.
2) We aim at 89 decibels of volume; your test recording is at 85.2 just a little below what we like it to be.
Fixing your bit rate in audacity is simple https://youtu.be/K2JWKadgtdE
To increase your volume move the microphone slider bar to the right inside Audacity, that will push it up a bit. Also move
closer to the microphone perhaps. We use the Checker program to see our volume https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QKVOY
it is very easy to use and will tell you your volume and thereby howo much to amplify or deamplify a file
Soooooo . Please fix these to little things, make another test, call it TEST 3. Upload and put the link in this thread where I will see it quickly. You are almost there!!!

All I'm saying is that the house doesn't fill up with annoying fruit flies when I buy donuts
