Welcome to Librivox!

Tech specs are correct! The only issue is with the volume, which is very quiet. Can you adjust the input volume from your microphone? Or turn up the microphone slider in Audacity, so that when you record, the waveform peaks above the 0.5 mark.
If input volume is already maxed up, you could use the Amplify... effect. This test recording has a dB level around 76 dB. We aim for 89. So you'd probably need to amplify by 13dB. Then if you notice any background noise, you could use the Noise Reduction effect: https://wiki.librivox.org/index.php?title=Noisecleaning_With_Pics#Clean_up_the_Noise:_Audacity_versions_from_2.1.0
If you'd like to check the volume of your recording you might consider using the Checker, a nifty little tool that checks volume and a few other things https://wiki.librivox.org/index.php?title=Checker

When ready with a new test file, please upload here again, and we'll check volume! Thank you!
