Software: Audacity
OS: Windows 10
Mic: USB

I hear an initial plosive with the first 'P,' but wanted to include it to see if there were techniques to soften it without losing diction. Cheers!

Thank you for the test! Well done on getting all the settings correct, you can head over to the Readers Wanted forums to claim a section or two that looks interesting

There is a little plosive there -- I recommend playing with the placement of the microphone to get it "just right." I often move mine a bit more to the side of my mouth. If you'd like more input about it, you can post the question in the Need help" Have advice? forum :)

Hi Kathryn, you sound great!
I am way too new here to offer technical advice for the plosives, but I can recommend a pop-filter! They're pretty inexpensive on Amazon and seem to be effective without impeding speech.
