Hi everybody!

Here is the link for my 1-minute test (I used Audacity, Windows and a Logitech Pro 9000 mic; I did only normalization):

Welcome!

All the tech settings check out OK. Volume's good; no plosives.

It's good to go as-is, but I think it would benefit from some noise reduction to take care of the background white noise. Here are a couple resources:
text instructions: http://wiki.librivox.org/index.php/Noisecleaning_With_Pics
video, but with an older version of Audacity so the settings are different: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VFSg9o37HMw

My settings are as follows:
Noise reduction: 10-16 (I suggest about 12 for you)
Sensitivity: [default]
Frequency Smoothing: [default]

Try it and see what you think. You can post your resulting audio in this thread if you like, for a second opinion, but if you are comfortable with the process, you don't have to. :) Marking this off as OK. Have fun!

Hello again!
Thank you both for your review!
I did now a noise reduction at 12: how does it sound now?
Bye,
Pasquale
