First time with Librivox, just testing to see if my voice and recording are up to librivox standards. Thank you for your time.

Hi, Jeff. I listened to your test and put it through our Checker program, which indicates your volume at 80.2
LV needs volume between 86 and 92, with a median we shoot for at 89.
All else checks out fine, and no plosives, and a very smooth, pleasant voice.
An MC will come along as time permits and give you the OK, but as far as I can see, you're good to go. Just adjust your volume up a bit before recording on future files. Most of us download the Checker program, and put our files through it before uploading to a project.
