Hello Dave,
Welcome to LV! Your recording is nice and clear sounding so you are off to a great start.

The p's and d's are easily solved with experimenting with mic placement. Put your finger on the mic. Now talk. If you feel your breath on the mic try moving it slightly to the side (or anywhere else where your breath doesn't hit it). That should solve that issue.

The next thing to do is noise clean your audio. Remember that in your recording environment everything you can hear when you sit quietly, the mic also hears.

You didn't mention what software you are using but if it's Audacity here is a video on noise cleaning: Noise cleaning: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VFSg9o37HMw Also, our wiki is a valuable resource.

Please upload the modified file and post another link to this same thread for a double check.

Dave,
You've got it! This one meets all of the specifications. Proof listen (PL) ok!

You are popping just a little bit on your p's. It's likely due to your mic position. Place a finger on the mic. Talk. If you feel your breath then move the mic slightly to the side, up, or down.

You may now record for projects. We suggest starting in short works until you are comfortable with the editing process.

Have fun and thank you for contributing. :D

Let me know what display name you would like and I'll put you down for the project.

You can post it to the project thread.
