Hi!

I'm using a TASCAM DR-05 PCM recorder (with the built-in mic, which sounds good to me) & Audacity for software.

Unedited sample upload here:

I have already tested replaygain normalisation and noise reduction and feel they work easily and well enough, but obviously those are not applied to this upload.

Hello. And welcome.

Your recording is fine with the exception of its volume being too low. If you would lift up the volume by 10dB or maybe even 12, you'll be within our desired parameters.

Please let me know if I can help in any way.
