Here is my 1 Minute Test!

FYI, there are two runs with the script on this recording. The first is raw, the second is the edits that my husband usually does for me.
Thank you!

This is great except that the volume is very, very low.

Because you have essentially two tracks here, I can't tell just how low the volume is, but our Checker program clocks you in as at 20 dBs too low. Whether or not that is a reading for the first track alone or an average of the two, I don't know.

If you would, please, send another sample to us so we can judge its volume.

But otherwise all sounds good!
Drop and roll!

Great sound, but about 9dB too low in volume.

If you would like help on how to increase the volume, just holler. I'll be here for a bit.

Oops - now you're veering a little too far to the 'too loud' end of the spectrum, coming in at just over the upper limit (92.8dB). The really best way to do this whole thing is to check your volume yourself - use Checker; info on how to do that here https://wiki.librivox.org/index.php?title=Checker

The good news is that once you've got it sorted, you'll usually not need to fiddle it with again and will develop an eye for the 'look' of your waveform, to know it's OK.

Another try!
Thank you for the link to the checker. This one should check out just fine. I appreciate a second opinion though!
Thank you.
