This is my voice test, which I recorded on a Kindle Fire, using a program called Voice Recorder.

Hello there, welcome to LibriVox! You have a calm and clear tone which will be perfect for contributing. Let's get a few things settled first. First of all, what software will you be using for editing? Does Voice Recorder allow you to edit your audio or make technical changes? Sorry, just not familiar with the program :D. Depending on what software you will use, I can help you figure out how to use these settings.
  • Your volume is currently at 76.7 dbs, we need it at 86-92, 89 preferred. Have you downloaded the Checker program yet? This can show you your volume. Don't know if you can get it on a kindle though...
  • You have a bit of background noise that would be nice to clean up
  • Your bit rate is at 192 kpbs, we need it at 128
  • Your recording is in stereo, we need it in mono
Let me know if you need help figuring this out. If you get it without help, please re upload, post in this thread, and I'll listen again :D
Constructive criticism always welcome
