Interesting reading!

Unfortunately there are a couple of problems here. First, your recording is in stereo, and LibriVox requires mono recordings. This is easy to fix in Audacity, I don't know Ardour.
Second issue is volume. Your volume is way too low, clocking in at 76.6dB, while the acceptable range is 86-92, with the ideal being close to 89.

Since Audacity doesn't directly tell us what the volume of a recording is, many of us here use the ReplayGain plug-in for Audacity to easily adjust volume as part of our post-process.

Please adjust your file accordingly and re-upload for a recheck.

Thanks and welcome!

That's better; tech specs are all fine.

I'll give this a PL OK! and a

Feel free to join in the fun; pick a project and request some sections to read!

One note... Your test recording did not follow the naming convention that is (I believe) described in the 1-minute test article on the wiki. As this is only a test, it's more a matter of form than necessity here, but please do notice and follow the directions for naming your uploads for projects; the instructions are easy to find in the first post for any project thread.

Welcome!

Thanks! Sorry, that's my bad, I forgot to rename it after making the adjustments. I will be making sure to follow the naming scheme in the future, though.

I figured you would, but had to mention it anyway. You know what happens when you assume. LOL

If you forget in a project, the person doing PL will flag it, so no worries.
