Just love your voice! All the tech specs of your recording are correct but your volume is a bit high. (we aim at around 89 decibels and you are at 94) If you would reduce this by about three or four decibels, record again and upload, putting the link in this thread I will check it out quickly.

To reduce volume, fiddle with the Audacity microphone input slider or move a bit further back from the microphone. Let me know if you want some help.

Thank you very much for the feedback Phil. I did think the peaks looked high but I wasn't sure what to do about them. I am very new to audio recording, figuring things out.

Excellent! That is great and your voice just gets better and better. You have the official OK to go forth and record lots and lots. :clap: :thumbs:
