hello and welcome to the forum :)

thank you for your test, I just had a listen to it, and your reading voice and pace are absolutely nice to listen to  I also liked the little smile in your voice, it convey nicely that you were having fun reading and recording. :D

On the technical side though, there are some things we need to tweak before it's LV standard. There's no need to re-record, but please, correct the following things to your test, reupload and post the link in this same thread, so I get notified and can have another listen.

1) your recording is in Stereo, but we need Mono. This is a common error with garageband users, and we have a wikipage here on how to correctly make the recording Mono (under: Saving and Creating an MP3 File and ID3 Tags) : https://wiki.librivox.org/index.php?title=GarageBand

2) the volume is too loud. We have an accepted range between 86 and 92 dB, yours is over 94 dB. Please decrease volume by -4 dB, to get close to the perfect average of 89

3) your bitrate setting is wrong, we need 128 kbps constant. I don't know the garageband program, but I'm sure these settings should be somewhere while exporting to mp3

thank you, and see you soon. :)
