Here is my 1 minute test!

https://librivox.org/uploads/tests/test_smileywriter_(online-audio-converter.com)_.mp3

I recorded using my i-phone voice memos app (since I don't have a good actual mic) and I edited using audacity. Sorry about the wind noises that occur during certain parts, I was holding my phone while recording. Normally I would have it stationed in one place so this would not occur. I have a windows operating system.

Hi Sydney (not sure if I caught your name correctly)

thank you for the test, you microphone substitute is actually quite good, I think the audio quality is very nice. Not too much distracting background noise either. And your voice sounds very nice to listen to. :D

There's only one setting you need to change, the recording must be in MONO (yours is stereo)

In audacity you change it like this:

> open your test file
> go to Tracks
> select Stereo track to Mono (your two "windows" will merge into one)

Could you please do this change and reupload here in this same thread so I can have another look ? Other than that, all is fine, no need to re-record.

Thanks

Sonia
