Hi Tivia

Welcome to Librivox.

Your test reading sounded fine, except that it was a little on the loud side. Otherwise all specifications were correct.

You can check your volume level by using the Checker Program:
https://wiki.librivox.org/index.php/Checker
The level should be between 86 and 92 dB.

If you reduce the volume of your test reading to a peak of -3.5 dB it will then fall between those limits.

Once that is done you should be good to record.

Have fun.

Cheers
