Bonjour Sue!

Bienvenue à Librivox!

Votre "test recording" est parfait!

Tu as aussi une très belle voix!

Switching to English now as I only know basic French :)

The only very minor thing to watch out for is you do have a little bit of noise at the beginning of your recording which can be cut out as we generally have .5 - 1 second of silence at the beginning of a recording and 5 seconds of silence at the end. No need to repeat the recording - just keep this in mind as you go forth and record!

Bonne journée!

Lynda

PS Recording is PL OK

I'd add one more thing, to be careful of breath noise on the microphone. Listen to the first section with all the "P" words -- you can hear wind noise (or "p-pops") with every p-sound. This can be fixed by angling the microphone so that your breath is not hitting it directly (or, more reliably, with a pop filter)

Thanks Zach -

Her recording was just fine for the first one done by a new Librivox reader.

We are not THAT picky when people just start out. Especially with French which has a different way of enunciating, it is harder to avoid those P's.
