Hello, just set up my home studio and trying to get it up and running. I am using Audacity, Windows, and an analog microphone. Any and all input is welcome!

Happy New Year!!

And it was successful! Test can be marked ok right away

Volume is inside the range of 87 to 89 dB, only on the low side when the intro and outro silences are set correctly; that's to say, it is fine but don't get any lower.

There is a little bit of noise, but I have the impression that you already noise-cleaned your file, another run wouldn't help to much and distort your voice. It pretty much sounds like the fan of a PC, so you could lessen it if you just put your microphone a bit away from the PC if it's an external one. But that is something you can look after with your next recordings. Hop on and have some fun! :)
