Hello Librivox Community! My name is McKinnie Lee Sizemore and I am interested in contributing to your wonderful projects. Please let me know how the following test sounds; it was recorded using a Blue Yeti USB microphone and Audacity.

EDIT: After reviewing other test recordings in this forum and noticing the disparity in volume of my own, I have amplified my test clip here: https://librivox.org/uploads/tests/test ... ecrew2.mp3

Hello McKinnie :) welcome to LibriVox

thank you for your one minute test. I'm glad you were pro-active and read up on other tests here, because your volume indeed was way below the accepted limit ;)

But I checked your second test and that was nicely amplified and now passes all tech specs. On top of that your reading is very clearly understandable, not too fast, not too slow. Quite agreeable to listen to. Perfect.

I can mark your test OK on the first go. Congrats. You can now roam free and participate in any project that strikes your fancy. I hope you have fun recording and maybe one day we'll meet again in one of the projects.

Sonia
