bom dia Evandro

desculpe, eu entendo um pouco português mas não falo bem ... so I hope you speak English.

your reading is very nice, and I understood the final librivox disclaimer 8-) but not the beginning, but it sounded difficult and you did it without stumbling.

1) only your volume is too loud: it's at 93.1 dB and we only accept from 86-92 dB with preferred average of 89 dB.
If you are using Audacity this is easy to decrease:
> highlight the entire recording
> go to Effect - Amplify
> input - (minus !!!) 3 and press OK
this should bring the recording to a good average

2) your background noise is a bit loud
can also easily be changed in Audacity:

> highlight a small portion at the end of your recording where you don't speak
> go to effect - noise reduction and first choose Get Noise Profile
> then highlight the entire recording
> again go to effect - noise reduction and then press OK

Could you do these two changes to your recording and reupload so I can have another listen please ?

I hope everything was clear for you. If there are still questions, don't hesitate to ask. :)

Sonia

YES ! the volume is at 89.4 dB and totally perfect now. Also the background noise is not disturbing at all.

I mark your test OK and I wish you boa sorte  with your future recordings. I think for the moment we don’t have a portuguese project on offer, but there is the Multilingual poetry and prose thread here: viewtopic.php?f=60&t=65168

You can choose your own text, which has to be in the public domain ! and you can record it for that collection. And if you don’t speak too fast, I might even practice my Portuguese to prooflisten to your file. ;)

Have fun !

Sonia
