Hi there,
Are you possibly using a computer that is managed by someone else? in other words, you don't have admin permissions for the computer you're trying to install it on?
Android users - try Orthografiend, a free word game from the maker of Checker.

is it possible to be a qualified 'listener editor' - using only Tablet Technology {specifically Kindle Fire HDX}? I do not have access to laptop or other technology, but would love to volunteer for this function :?:

I hope this is the right place, but:
When I use the check file by URL option I get:
"This does not appear to be an MP3 file. It might be a different file type, or the file might be corrupt."
Even though the file is MP3, and I personally checked that it's not corrupt. :?

I've never used that option. It downloads the file, so you might as well download it yourself and drop it into the checker. :hmm:

Testing this a little more: I wonder if it doesn't like secure (https) URLs. If you go to the uploader folder of the MC (such as mine here: http://uploads.librivox.org/triciag/ ) and use the URL from there, it's not https, and seems to work.
