Hello, I've listened to your test. Here's what Checker recommends.

The file could use a pass through Noise Reduction to tamp down the background noise. To do this in Audacity, grab the whole file, go Effect/Noise Reduction/set the sliders to 12/6/6 and click the radio button Reduce/Okay.

Also, I hear several plosives (P sounding like a puff of air), and recommend you set your mike about 45 degrees to the side of your mouth, or put a sock over the mike.

Other than that, sounds great!

Try that and repost your file, same place, same file name. Once that is done, someone will come along soon and give you an OK.

Alright! Redid the test with holding my mic lower/no air hitting it and added noise reduction. Doing that lowered my dB a ton, so I used Phil's video to up the dB.

Plosives are gone but your previous "full" sound is more "tinny". Try moving mike to the side, as it seems to matter where it is placed. Background noise is higher, so much so that it fails Checker. I applied Noise Reduction to the file settings 8/6/3/reduce, and it sounds much quieter. Give that a try.

Okay, third try: moved the mic to the side of my face, noise reduction 8/6/3, loudness increased to -19/90dB.

I'm sorry, the noise reduction settings I sent were to correct the previous file. So this new file still fails the Background Noise Check. For a new file, I usually have NR set at 12/6/6. I don't know what you mean by loudness increased to -19/90db.

Let's wait for another attendant to come along and see what they advise.

Whenever I run noise reduction it also reduces the volume of my voice - so my voice goes from 90dB to 70dB when the noise is removed for some reason. I then go to Effect > Loudness Normalization and increase it back to 90dB... but the number I put in is -19 since it asks for the number I want in LUFS, not dB. This might be doing something to my audio quality as well, not sure.
