Hey guys,

I just recorded my one-minute-test using Audacity on a mac with a MXL 990 mic though a USB mixing board. Would appreciate your feedback to anyone willing to listen.

Hello Cody, welcome to LibriVox! Your test was fun to listen to, you have a wonderful energy that will be a great contribution!

Only one small thing to fix, that is your bit rate. You currently have it as 114 kbps variable, we need it as 128 kbps constant. This is a simple fix:
1.Go to export it (menu items file>export)
2. Look under the Format Options section
3.Where it says 'Bit Rate Mode', select 'Constant'
4. In the 'Quality' drop down menu select 128 kbps.

Otherwise was great! No background noise and it was nice and clear! Once you make this small edit, re upload it, post in this thread, and I'll listen again!

It is all fixed now! Great job! You have the ok to begin reading. Just for future recordings, please note that we do require 5 seconds of silence at the end, but for the test it is not important. I loved the energy in your voice, and maybe I'll get to hear you read something in the future!
