I did want to mention, though, that the second of two footnotes included in the selection (found here at 4:46) is included in the text in the middle of a long sentence, but I read it at the end of that sentence. I tried it both ways, but it seemed confusing to stick it in the middle - it's a longish footnote. But I can put it in the middle if that's preferred.

A few PL notes:
1:07 - I hear "from 1836 to 1856", text says "from 1436 to 1456"
4:45-5:55 - please remove the footnote (note I have left the first footnote alone, as I feel it adds to the story - and is in fact referenced at around 8:00 - but this one seems distracting, as you said, since it's more about historians than about Columbus himself.)
11:54 - I hear "order of the foundation of the idea " text says "order of the formation of the idea "
