I'll wait until proofreading before recording section 17 in case I need to make adjustments to anything or redo something. Thanks
Hi Ben,
There's just a few things you'll want to edit and then this should be good to go.
First, you want to make sure to trim the beginning silence to between .5-1 second.

Next in the intro. you say "Section 16" as the section title, but here you would want to say, "A Matter of Interest: Part I" That's the part under title in the window (MW - magic window) on the first page that shows what you've been assigned.

At 3:48 you have a bit of a stumble on "...may probably..."
At 11:05 there's another stumble on "...every new book..."

Overall, great reading. I'm super intrigued about what's going to happen.
Here's the new upload:

I've made the suggested changes. Please let me know if there's anything else I need to tweak.

Hi Ben, I have volunteered to be DPL. Great job on the recording and edits! You really captured the tongue-in-cheek humor of the dialogue! Just a little edit on the intro to meet the script on page 1 of this project:
0:01 remove "A Matter of Interest, Part I" ; replace with "Section 16 of the Mystery of Choice" before "This is a Librivox recording ....
0:18 remove words "Section 16" insert " Part 1 after "A Matter of Interest"
Let me know if you have any questions.
Kind Regards,
Christine

Sorry Ben! That was my bad. I should have been more clear in my edit suggestion I was trying to say that you didn’t need to repeat “section 16” at .18. I should have put a time stamp for clarity.

Brownrottger is updated as DPL now. :)

Hi there. I would like to claim section 19. However I need some guidance on what to say at the beginning and end with regard to the titles. Should I start by stating section 19 part 4 & 5 or say part 4 separately prior to reading it? I have a similar dilemma finishing section 18. Do I repeat the section number at the end, the part number, or both?

Many thanks.

I'll put you in for 19.
So I would state the intro as follows:
"Section 19 of The Mystery Of Choice. This is a LibriVox recording. All LibriVox recordings are in the public domain. For more information or to volunteer, please visit librivox.org." [Optional: "Read by your name."] "The Mystery Of Choice, by Robert W. Chambers. A Matter of Interest: Parts IV & V"
Then the next thing I would say would be "4 Dinner was ended." Then when you get to part 5, just say "5" and start that part.

When finishing you'll just want to say, "End of section 19" and then for 18, "End of section 18."

Let me know if I made sense!
