Section was wonderfully read  and the only note is that the volume falls outside the range established by Librivox. I ran the file through CHECKER and the volume was 84.6. The range is 86-92 so it's not far off. (Maybe amplify by 1.5-1.8)? The good news is that you don't have to re record it. It sounds terrific if a little quiet.

Here's a tutorial for increasing/decreasing volume in Audacity, a free sound editing program.

Let me know if you need help amplifying the volume.

Thanks Aniroo for the advice! In addition I realized that I had to go through the file to edit out all my P-pops with the high-pass filter and all S-hissing with the low-pass filter. Only after that was I able to use the Amplify effect without clipping.

Anyway, sorry it took so long! Hope this sounds better. Checker says it's 7 dB now.

Oops, what I meant to say was that Checker says it's 87 dB now!

Thanks, Rita! This is loaded for our terrific DPL.

And I'm so sorry! I owe you one! I saw your time, and knew that word count had to be incorrect - so I pulled it again from the plaintext file, and it came up at 6666 this time around.
