I guess I wasn't clear enough. I was attempting to claim the five chapters between 25 and 29, not just those two. OTOH, if someone else wants 26, 27, and 28, that's ok with me too
Sorry! I've added those for you.
Thank you.

I've put this in the MW Ready for PL

By the way, you don't need to include all of the information above.
All we really need is the upload link and file length.
Just to simplify it for you.

I've been having a great time with this so, unless anyone else wants them, I'd like to just read the rest of the unclaimed chapters.

Rather than wait for a reply, I'm just going to get started. If someone else has claimed them, you can simply throw mine out. Thanks!

Thanks for the additional three sections, Chip.

And, thank for your enthusiasm for this book!
You haven't had an official proof listening report yet, so let me give you a little feedback before you get too far with these.

Overall, your reading is really quite good and I think fits the character of the book.
I would like to make a few suggestions that I think are important, especially if you are going to take so many chapters. The pauses between your intro and the beginning of the actually reading I find rather too long, I would aim for about a 1 sec or 1 1/2 but no more than 2. The same is true at the end. 1-1 1/2 sec between the end of the reading and the outro. These long pauses are uncomfortable for the listener. Also, your voice credit should appear either at the beginning or the end, but not both.

The only other general comment is that there is a lot of reverb, the so called empty room quality to the recording. Certainly nothing that makes these recordings unacceptable, but you might want to think about treating your recording space at some point. There are some good tutorials on this. For me, just hanging some blankets -- behind me and the microphone helped a lot.

And, it is always a good idea to wait until sections are officially assigned before recording, but I'll go ahead and sign you up! :D

Hi Larry

I appreciate the suggestions. I was deliberately trying to create a space between the boilerplate and the reading itself, but I can easily chop it down. And I'll keep the credit to just one end of the reading. In fact, I'll make those changes and re-upload, since I have them all sitting right here in front of me.

And yes, the empty room effect in Chapter 25 bothered me too, so the subsequent chapters are done under a sheet.

Thanks again for the feedback. I'll upload and post the corrections shortly

The corrections will be updated in the MW and I've added this one.
I'm sure our DPL will be along to give you some good reports.

Thanks so much.
