The section divisions look good, and I know as a reading volunteer I appreciate the word counts being so precise because it lets me gauge how long a section will take at my own particular recording and editing pace.

Off to readers wanted!

Re:Chapter 4: Abolitionists and Abolition Societies, 1783 - 1808, section 1

How do I know where section 1 of chapter 4 ends? Would it be better if I read the entire chapter? Also, do I need to read the footnotes? Thank you

Hello,

It probably would be better to read the whole chapter as well as the footnotes. I know I will be reading the footnotes, in many instances the footnotes contain more than just book page and title and can add value to the audio recording - especially since the listener will not have the book in front of them to know there's a footnote there and what it contains.

In the last book that mleigh and I worked on, I recorded with footnotes. (in case this is helpful for you.) https://librivox.org/the-wrong-of-slavery-by-robert-dale-owen/

As for where section 1 ends and 2 begins, I would suggest page 100 where paragraph 1 ends and paragraph 2 begins for §112.

Thanks
