The Royal Regiment, and Other Novelettes, by James Grant (1822 - 1887)

James Grant was a prolific Scottish writer of novels and "novelettes", particularly centered around military life. Included with this regimental tale, are four such novelettes or short stories. Also included are some background stories and folklore. Please note that some listeners may be offended by some of the language. It is Librivox policy to read texts as written.
