It has just dawned on me that my microphone might have a problem with plosives. So, to any proof listeners: if the first recording by madcappe is problematic, please don't waste time listening to the others--they will all have the same problem.

Chapter 10 PL OK

Watch for plosives. The best way to avoid this is to have your mic to the side or above your mouth so your breath doesn't hit it. You can also buy a pop filter... it's a screen you attach to your mic (a homemade version would be an embroidery hoop with pantyhose stretched across). You can get them for about $15 on Amazon or elsewhere.

Please be sure to leave 5 seconds at the end of your recordings.
