Billy Whiskers: The Autobiography of a Goat, by Frances Trego Montgomery (1858 - 1925)

All audio files can be found on our catalog page: https://librivox.org/billy-whiskers-the-autobiography-of-a-goat-version-2-by-frances-trego-montgomery/

This is the original story in the beloved series of Billy Whisker books by Frances Trego Montgomery. Billy is a loveable goat whose adventures always entertain. Of course, adventure for Billy usually means trouble. Whether Billy is in the country where someone ends up in the duck pond, or in the city where he joins the fire brigade, mischief is his middle name. But he meets Nanny and them finds his way to the circus where we have a day-by-day account of his adventures there. (Summary by Larry Wilson)

With the current Billy Whiskers book nearly complete, we now circle back to pick up what is actually the first book in the series. (There will be several more to follow).

Setting this up for you.

Edit: all set. Let me know if you need anything else.

If this is a series, do you need a group set up?

Hello,

Have never claimed a chapter while the magic window is still blank but if it is okay, I would like chapter 18 : Billy Finds Nanny.

Thank you.

I think that would be useful. I have another are at least four more ready to go, and I hope some more of the series will pop up on Gutenberg.

Larry,

If you are still in need of a DPL, I think I can fit this into my schedule. This sounds like fun. :D

Oh, thank you so much!

I remember that my younger brother read this whole series when we were kids. Somehow I missed them. But lots of fun misadventure for sure.

You can still read, if you chose to do so.
