Oh, thank you so much!
I really appreciate it.

That leaves us one stray to round up and we'll be ready to release this book to the public. :)

I still plan to narrate the chapter I volunteered for. I've just started a new fulltime job so I haven't been able to devote much time to anything else.

I will endeavor to get this done by Monday morning (10/11). If you don't hear from me by then, then please release this chapter so that someone else can contribute it. I wouldn't want to hold it up if my chapter is the only one outstanding.

Thanks-
Granville

That's fine! As long as I know you're still planning on it, I can give you a couple of weeks. Not a problem.

Fantastic!
I appreciate your extra effort to record this chapter.
Please stay tuned for your listening report. :)

Pending the PL of these last two sections, we will be able to wrap this up! :)

Hi there, thanks for this. I have nothing to correct in terms of the text itself, but just a few technical points:
1. The overall volume is much too low. It's averaging at 75.4dB - the acceptable range for LV is 86-92, so please amplify the whole recording by at least 11dB. 13dB or 14dB would be ideal.
2. I hear two sentences repeated, beginning "Early in September Major Jones" and ending "before winter set in". The first example is at 16:59 and you repeat it at 17:20. Just pick which you prefer and delete the other.
3. At the end of the recording I hear the introduction again - I'm guessing you recorded it at the end and copied it to the beginning, but forgot to delete it from the end? If you could just delete that from the end, and make sure at the end you say "end of Section 6" followed by 5 seconds silence.

The reading itself was great - thank you.

After a long wait, I've decided to make the necessary corrections to Section 6, and mark it PL OK.

Thank you to all of our fine readers for bringing this book to life!
And, thanks to Jake for all of his fine proof listening.
And, as always, thanks to David, our MC, for making this possible.

We are done!

I may not start cataloging until later tomorrow, we have a 4-year-old houseguest :9: and I see I will have to do some filename corrections.

By all means devote your time to that house guest. :birthday:

This long delayed project can certainly wait.
Thanks again for your help.
