I asked my librarian about the noise, and she said, "no one would come here
if they weren't allowed to talk out loud." So I read out loud.

Je lis à haute voix car refléchir fait trop de bruit!

Hi, all! My 1-minute test recording got the okey-dokey, and I'd like to read Section 6, if I may. :-)

Thank you! That's a PL OK.

And now I get to go teach myself to edit the MW since it's my first one. :D
Waiting for a clever signature line to occur to me.

Hi Heather - I see the 'centrifugal' pronunciation is right for British. Marking PL OK, no record needed. Sorry 'bout that!

Time: 1:27:45 (alot of tables in this section so ran long!)

At approx. 00:30:05 I inserted a footnote using a German robovoice. The footnote was almost entirely a title of a work of Freud's in German. So, used a translator. Tried to get a voice somewhat similar to mine, but it's obvious the voice isn't mine. If this doesn't work, the PL can cut it (or ask for me to cut it). Just wanted to experiment with that...

I'm on to Section 41...

Cheers!
Hi Steve - Congrats on your endurance on the tables. That was a slog.

PL notes:

--Time is actually 1:27:58 (may change slightly depending on how we end up dealing with the footnote)
--cut end silence to 5 sec.
--20:28 - text: curve heard: cure
--25:13 - text: 1 and 6 heard: 1 and 4
--1:06:08 - time omitted after "loss"
--as a note, nothing to change on this, but if you do more reading of the tables, I'd say go ahead and read "question mark" when they appear.
--I hadn't seen your mention of the German 'robovoice' before I PL'd. I sent you a PM about it and we can decide how to handle. Let me know what you think.

Time: 51:15
Hi Steve -
Checker shows that volume falls outside 86-92 (too high)
cut lead time to .5-1.0 seconds
22:20 sentence beginning "Her dream" is omitted

Off to sec. 42 :)

cut lead time to .5-1.0 seconds
cut end time to 5 sec
add section #/title at :31 (III. The Hysterical Symptom)

Thanks,
Verla

Hi group,

For easy reference with the MW, I added pdf page numbers to the pdf. That gives me both the book's original pagination and the pdf's.

I also used the accessibility editing option to up the contrast, so the background is somewhat lighter. Trying to read the black print on the dark yellow page was killing my eyes. It is not a big difference, but enough to make it just a little easier.

You can download it here:
