Wikipedia has this: /mjʊər/ MEWR

Here's "Muirhead" - similar first syllable: https://howjsay.com/how-to-pronounce-muir
Yes, like “pure.” I’m about 3 miles from the John Muir House museum, everything here, including the local hospitals are named for him.

Welcome!

I'll put you in for section 11, but please do the 1-minute test first, to be sure your technical settings are all OK before recording "for real". :)

How would you like to be credited in the catalog? I recommend using whatever name you say (if any) when you say, "recorded by [your name]" as that's how listeners will look for you. (Keep in mind that prospective employers, classmates, enemies, etc. can also find you using the catalog name, so be cautious if privacy might be an issue.)
School fiction: David Blaize
America Exploration: The First Four Voyages of Amerigo Vespucci
Serial novel: The Wandering Jew

Michael Curtis is fine for the credit. I will send a test in about 10 days. I’m backpacking this week in a national park, ironically.

Thanks - I've put you in.

(You don't have to announce your catalog name anymore. It's in your profile, which is what was needed the first time you signed up for a section: https://librivox.org/reader/15179) :)
