I did the recording and ran it through checker, but it is saying that:-
a) The file name contains bit rate information, but standard names do not.
b)Although the maximum length for a recording is 60 minutes, long works are usually divided into sections of about 30 minutes each. (My section is 43 minutes 7 seconds long)

Should I upload it anyway?
If not, what changes should I make?

Actually yes, don't worry about those red flags!
I once encountered a 62-minute section while PL-ing, and the MC there said it was fine.
Looking forward to your upload!

Hi there - I am new to reading and would like to sign up to read section 9, if possible. My 1-minute test has been approved here: viewtopic.php?f=21&t=89418

Hi Jack! Happy to host your first ever recording here at LibriVox.
Section 9 is yours now. There will be bumps along the way, but I'm sure you'll get the hang of it by the 2-month deadline.
Unless I should pause and wait for PL-OK on section 9, I would like to go ahead and claim section 10.
Oh my, that's extremely fast! I've added the file link to the MW.
As for the change in catalog name, can our MC Amy help out with that? Thank you!
I'll definitely message the DPL in a week to give a gentle reminder if the situation persists (hasn't been active in the forum for a month now). Let's wait a bit longer for his/her response here in the thread first!
Jack's name is updated in the catalog now.
Thanks,
