Why We Love Lincoln, by James Creelman (1859 - 1915)

This project is now complete. All audio files can be found on our catalog page: https://librivox.org/why-we-love-lincoln-by-james-creelman/
Brought to us by notable reporter and writer, James Creelman, this story of Abraham Lincoln is a more personal and simple portrait of the most popular U.S. President. This account is told in an easy flowing style giving many insights into the spirt and character of the man, making the story of Lincoln accessible both to young people and adults. (Summary by Larry Wilson)

Thanks so much, MaryAnn

The MW is filled in.

We all start somewhere!

Did you read the part about completing a test recording?

We strongly recommend this to check out your recording set up and technical settings before recording an actual piece for a project. You'll find more information about this in the Newbie Guide to Recording linked in the leading post of this project, and lots of other good info.

For now, I'll put you in for Section one. So, when you have the OK on your test recording, you are free to record for this. And, if all goes well, you can request more sections, but this will be a good start.

Also, let us know how you would like to be listed in the LibriVox catalog -- real name, pseudonym or any nickname you wish. This is how you will be credited for all of you LV work.

Thank you for your interest in this project.
We do, however, request that our new readers first complete a one-minute test recording to check out all of your technical specifications and any reading issues.

New to recording? Please read our Newbie Guide to Recording!

Among the useful information there you will find instructions for completing your test recording. Once you have the "OK" on that, post again here and you are free to record for this project. Let us know how you would like to be credited in the LibriVox catalog - real name, pseudonym or other nickname.
