Section 28:

0:36-1:49 - please cut this part out. I only wanted the chapter titles directly under the chapter number, not this long summary of everything in the chapter. (Directions to this effect was in italics in the first post; I've now bolded it as well.)

What an interesting book, Tricia! Especially interesting is the way it uses all those illustrations based on photographs. (It would be nice to imagine someone looking at the illustrations while listening to the audio.)

Could I please sign up for Sections 22, 23, and 24 (Italian Life, Shantytown, and Underground Life)?

Thanks,
Bruce

I should put a note about the illustrations in the summary (err, if it isn't there already). You're in for those sections. Thanks!

Kevin - section 28 PL OK. Thanks! 8-)

Welcome! It's available. I'll put you in for it.

How would you like to be credited in the catalog? There are places for a catalog name (some use a nickname or forum name, some their real name) and a link to a personal web site or blog, if you have one. I recommend using whatever name you say (if any) when you say, "recorded by [your name]" as that's how listeners will look for you. (Keep in mind that prospective employers, classmates, enemies, etc. can also find you using the catalog name, so be cautious if privacy might be an issue.)

Please, before recording this, do the one-minute test (LINK) to check your technical settings. It's not an audition, but to make sure you're exporting at the correct bit rate, have your recording in mono, etc. It would be a shame to record the whole section, only to have to scrap it and redo it because of some simple setting that is incorrect. :)
