I have completed the 1 minute test and will be recording the sections I have reserved.
Thank you
Awesome! Could you let me know under which name you would like to be credited in the catalog? It can be your real name, your forum name, or something else that you choose.

Can I add sections 46 and 67 to my list?

Hi Roma -

Can I please sign up for the following Sections? 7, 11, 24, 26, 30, 33, 35, 38, 40, 42, 44, 47, 52, 53, 55, 56, 62

I love recording poems - they will not take me very long to do if you are concerned about your timeline.

I could use a little guidance with this.
1. It looks like you want me to put the section in when I start, since the book has 6 sections I am guessing I would say: "The Pearl Story Book: Stories and Legends of Winter, Christmas, and New Year's, by Ada M. Skinner and Eleanor L. Skinner. Winter Stories And Legends."
2. Can I then say the title of the story and author? And, in the case of a poem the title, poem and then author?
3. Section 13 is a poem 6 lines long. Do you want that submitted in a separate mp3 upload?

Thank you! I've put 0-4 in the MW for proof-listening. It seems like you've recorded section 5 as well, though I don't remember you claiming it or me assigning it to you. If I did assign the poem to you, we can move on normally, but I don't think this is the case, as it is already assigned to someone else. I would hate to waste the recording, so I think the best solution is if Alan is okay with it, the section can go to you.

To answer your questions, for number one I think you can leave out the Winter Stories And Legends, and in general, whichever section the poem or story is under. For number two, yes you say the title of the story or poem and then the author. For number 3, yes you can submit that as a separate recording.

Sections 0, 2 and 4 are PL OK.

Section 1: could you please place the author of the poem after the title, it is currently at 1:28, please place by "author" at 0:45

Section 3: could you please place the author of the poem after the title, it is currently at 2:28, please place by "author" at 0:42

Section 5 (pending decision regarding reader): could you please place the author of the poem after the title, it is currently at 2:47, please place by "author" at 0:41.

Great job with the recordings.

Thanks,

M

Hi there!

I am really sorry about recording section 5!

I will just submit it to the quarterly poems instead. Please let Alan submit his poem.

Roma -

Can you please update the instructions in the MW to instruct readers to say the author (if there is one) after the title of the reading? The author appears I have noticed at either the start or end of the piece. It is a bit frustrating to be asked to change ones recordings to a different format when the format that I followed and displayed is what I read. While I do not mind editing my recordings some of the newer Librivox readers might find this either confusing or harder to do.

Thanks -

As I was the first to claim section 5 I would like to be allowed to record it.
