COMPLETE [HOLIDAYS] The Pearl Story Book Stories and Legends of Winter, Christmas, and New Year’s Day-Leni
Nice recording - you just need to remove close to 1 sec of silence at the start to get a PL OK.LibraryWitch wrote: ↑July 16th, 2021, 5:33 pm Section #25, "The Pine and the Flax," has been recorded and uploaded.

My apologies for missing the volume the first time around. It needs to be amplified by about 2-3 dB.
Thanks,
M
Great reading. One quick fix is needed here. Please remove about 5 seconds of silence from the end of the recording as it should be around 5 seconds in length.LibraryWitch wrote: ↑July 20th, 2021, 7:12 pm Section #34, "The Animals' Christmas Tree," has been uploaded:

One other thing although no fix for it is required here is that your volume is on the low end of the target range. It is 86.3 dB so you might want to amplify it by around 2 dB for future recordings.
Thanks,
M
Here is section 31:

So do I need to record Section 25 again? When I checked the volume, the box told me it was at 89 dB. I'll bump it up to 91, which is where I thought it was when I recorded. I'm beginning to feel as though I'm in one of the TRON movies, where the programs have personalities and just do whatever they want when no one's looking....mleigh wrote: ↑July 21st, 2021, 11:19 amThank you,LibraryWitch wrote: ↑July 17th, 2021, 5:17 pm Revised recording of section #25:

No you do not need to record 25 again. I'll double check it on my end.LibraryWitch wrote: ↑July 22nd, 2021, 6:46 pmSo do I need to record Section 25 again? Section 25 is pretty short, so re-recording isn't a problem if it turns out to be necessary.

I confess to being baffled. Sections 25 and 34 were initially both of acceptable volume per Checker. However, when the amount of silence was changed the volume dropped below 86 dB. Does anyone here have any ideas?LibraryWitch wrote: ↑July 22nd, 2021, 9:03 pm Section 25 is pretty short, so re-recording isn't a problem if it turns out to be necessary.

I'm not too sure myself................maybe try amplifying it and see what happens?mleigh wrote: ↑July 23rd, 2021, 8:37 amI confess to being baffled.
