Hope all is ok. Thankyou
Nicely read. I especially loved the different voices used for the snowballs.

Somebody has already claimed 28, so I've given you section 57. Have fun!

I still have the original recording as well if needed.
PL OK.

I also amplified the volume for 34 (so you don't have to deal with it again) and got it just past the 86 dB mark, so I am also giving that one a PL OK.

Thanks for all your work on these two files.

it was really fun to read for librivox but I must admit the tech part is not easy for me !!
there's no easy way to find the (in)famous ... 89 db, is there?
so I did my best to amplify the volume , let me know if it is ok
I reduced the noise and added silence at the end of the recording
so now the file is 14 min long
here it is.... fingers crossed

Two comments.

1. The volume still is a little low but much better. Just amplify it by 5-6 dB and that should get you 88-89 dB.
The noise reduction was great and is no issue with the extra amplification. :D

2. Somehow, there is now way too much silence at the end. There is over 34 seconds. :hmm:
Just delete about 29 of them and that should be good too.

Please let me know if you have any questions.

Thanks,

M

Bless you. :D It was my pleasure to record for this collection; I'm a librarian in real life and my library used to have most of these books.

I'll keep an eye on the volume for future recordings, since it's easier when I get it right the first time.

Thank you.

The volume is good.

I went ahead and deleted the extra silence at the end to get it to 13:30. I don't know what is going on there. I reposted with the correct filename as well.

So I am calling it PL OK.

Thanks much,

M
