Thanks, Keith! Let's wait for our DPLer to give you some more feedback, but please observe the formatting for the files as describe din the first post of every project. For this one, it should be "naturalhistoryvolume7_04_128kb". Also, please let us know the length of your recording when you post the link.

I am assigning you section 12, thanks for claiming! :D
And here is section 12. New microphone, no "swooshing," hopefully better all around:

Thank you! I am sorry if I am a bit slow here, since I am moving. Other MCs are aware though, so if something goes wrong, someone else will show up. I hope to be back to normal on the weekend!

PL Notes for section 12

The volume is 82dB which is too low. We aim for between 86-92 dB but ideally we would like it to be at 89 dB.
In Audacity you will also find the option to amplify under 'effects'.
How to amplify in Audacity: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=z_z607awyLw
If you like you can use the checker tool to verify volume and other settings.

00:33 there is a large gap of silence which needs reducing
00:58 there is a large gap of silence which needs reducing
5:49 there is a large gap of silence which needs reducing

12:44 there is a large gap of silence which needs reducing
33:41 there is a large gap of silence which needs reducing

Please could you carry out the edits then upload the file using the same file name and post in this thread. If you need any more help please just ask. Thanks

Hello, and welcome to Librivox! Thanks for your interest in this project. Since this seems to be your first LibriVox project, please, let me ask you to always read carefully the first post of every project. That is where you will find all important information about it. Also, before your first recording, we strongly recommend you do the 1-minute test: https://wiki.librivox.org/index.php?title=1-Minute_Test Please follow the instructions there.

I am assigning you the sections. Thank you!

Since sections 28-33 had been confirmed on June 9th, and it's been two months since, I am orphaning them today.
