That`s all right, thanx!Genosse66 wrote: ↑April 17th, 2021, 1:07 am Hi Kazbek, Leni and Aleksander,
I've endeavoured to correct all mistakes and am posting the latest efforts. Appreciate the technical knowhow and the careful proof listening. Hopefully this suffices.

They sure had long, long sentences back in the day.

Thank you, Jessie! Welcome aboard. Yes, we have had volunteers to PL individual sections, but we were still looking for a DPL. Leni will give you access to the MW and you can start as DPL with the next section that gets posted here.

Works for me! I'm ready to do my section. Credit me as Chadi MassoudKazbek wrote: ↑April 17th, 2021, 5:47 amHello, and welcome to LibriVox! I normally encourage new readers to start by claiming one section in this project to get an idea of how long it takes to record and edit a section of this length. I'll sign you up for two, but please let me know if you change your mind.
Since this looks like the first time you'll be assigned a section, let me know under what name (real or nickname) you would like to be credited in the catalog. We can also include a link to your personal website or blog, if you have one.
Also, please complete a 1-Minute Test before you record your first contribution. Its purpose is to ensure that your recording software and hardware is set up in accordance with LibriVox technical standards, so that you get a chance to adjust your setup without having to redo a longer recording. The instructions can be found on this wiki page:
https://wiki.librivox.org/index.php/1-Minute_Test
In the meantime, I'll pencil in your claim in the Notes column of the Magic Window.
Thanks for volunteering!
Michael
Just one question. It is my understanding that I am here as a PL not for recording. Am I mistaken?

Oh, don't rush on my account! It was just a new kind of text for me (I've only done fiction so far) so I didn't want to dive in to the next one until I was sure I hadn't messed up!!
Oh, I thought you were volunteering to read those. We don't generally make advance claims to PL. If there's no DPL for the project, one can volunteer to PL sections that are already marked "ready for PL" in the Magic Window. Someone has just volunteered to be the DPL for this project, so they will listen to the other sections as they are submitted. With that clarification, I'll reopen sections 61 & 62, and I hope you find another project you'd like to PL.ChadiMassoud wrote: ↑April 19th, 2021, 12:19 pm Works for me! I'm ready to do my section.
