I do have a quick question since I've so far not read any titles that reference their illustrations. Do I just read the text as is when it references the illustrations or is there anything in particular I'm supposed to do?

Thanks!

If it is a caption (e.g. Photo of John Smith in his garden), ignore it.
If it refers to it (e.g. “As can be seen in the photo of John Smith in his garden, he grew roses”), read it as usual.
