Assigned!
Section 6 PL okay!
Section 7 PL notes:
Very well read!
24:56 top of page 100 the text says "the Son who suffered is one, and He that suffered not is another" - I think you said, "He that suffered is not another"
47:39 top of page 115 the text says "by help of your evil inventions" - I think you said "evil intentions" but doesn't change the meaning much.

Thanks Jennifer!
Section 7 Spot check:
47:37-41 - does it now sound like "inventions" instead of "intentions"?
24:56-59 - does it now sound like "and He that suffered not is another"
Section 8 Spot check:
4:40-48 - is the snap removed?

My apologies for dropping off the grid for so long. Here is the re-record (w/o birdsong), and with the indicated processes to normalize the dB levels. Please let me know whether this works!InTheDesert wrote: ↑March 13th, 2021, 1:07 pmHi Christopher, well read, I greatly enjoyed your rendition. Towards the end, the birdsong in the background became noticeable but I didn't find it particualrly distracting so you are welcome to leave it as is if it doesn't trouble you.ChristopherFoeckler wrote: ↑March 11th, 2021, 3:01 pm Section 1 is ready for review. In terms of proof listening, the volume is a bit low (~80 dB) where we need it to be between 86-92 dB on average. The easiest way to fix this it to use some of audacity's built in plugins. The Loudness Normalisation effect will bring the volume up to the right level (it's only in the latest version of Audacity so you might need to upgrade).
Run the following 3 effects in this order:
Normalize (DC ticked, peak ticked -0.0, stereo unticked)
Compressor (Threshold -14, Noise Floor -25, Ratio 7:1, Attack 0.5, Release 1.9, Make up to 0dB ticked, compress peaks unticked)
Loudness Normalisation ('perceived loudness', -20 LUFS, he two checkboxes don't matter).
Once you've done that, you can re-export and re-upload with the same filename.

And this is solidly PL OK. You've got a really pleasant reading voice. Well done. Hope we'll see you in some more projects!ChristopherFoeckler wrote: ↑July 2nd, 2021, 9:01 pmMy apologies for dropping off the grid for so long. Hi Larry, just want to check whether you're able to make the changes for section 1 so I can finish the editing.silverquill wrote: ↑April 29th, 2021, 10:33 am Well, here is Orthodox for Dialogue 1
I don't know if you want voice credit or any intro/outro but they are included to use or discard as you wish.
I was also challenged by the names and references near the end where citations were being given by Orthodox, where some of the names and abbreviations were unfamiliar to me. Let me know if I need to change something there.

Do you think you've got capacity to do the 2nd and 3rd or would you prefer someone else to jump in for them?
