Thank you!

The French is hard to hear or hard to understand? I myself have butchered my way through several languages so far, so...

I can't tell. The audio quality definitely drops. Have a listen from 17:50 and tell me what you think.
Female Scripture Characters by William Jay (1769 - 1853) 97% 1 left! "The Penitent Sinner Part 2"
St. Augustine (Vol.6 Psalms 126-150) 96% 2 left!

It does...
The whole file is too quiet with 86.5, and the introduction is barely audible, but there are interesting spikes throughout.
I'll ask my admin colleagues to see if they have an idea to salvage this. :hmm:

Also, in this file, the beginning silence is 2.5 seconds, and the ending silence is 10 seconds, both is too long.
Please make a note of this in the future.
Cheers, Ava.

Also at 17:50, the French is hard to hear (might just be my lack of French).
I have asked another admin, she said yes, the French is not intelligable but that's partly because of the bad quality. The reader probably recorded it extra and spliced it in, not much to be done about that. However, as the French text is translated into English right afterwards in both instances, I'll let it go.

Other than that, I have fixed the repeat, chopped off the silences at the beginning and end and amplified the whole thing. Ready for spot-PL!

Hi gang. Sorry for the delays. I’ve finished recording the two sections and am now editing. Only a few days. Promise.

Sorry I missed this. Spot check at 20:51 is PL OK. Volume is now in the middle of the acceptable range (though it was 86.5 which I think is still just inside the specs - I did run it through checker before).

thank you!

Yes, the volume was inside the specs, but the reader was very soft at places (in particular in the intro), so I thought I'd bump it up a little. Pity she's not around any longer, she had a nice voice.

Here's the long awaited

I hope you like it. I'm not sure I do.

How did it get so late so soon?

December is here before it’s June.
My goodness how the time has flewn.

Thank you Bill!

I'm sure your recording is just perfect, even though we're not looking for perfection
