I don't know how you do it, but your correction is absolutely seamless. I wish all of mine came out as well as yours. Chapter 4 is now PLOK

Sorry about the delay, I was out of town for a couple of days.

I am ready and excited to take the next available section. Is that Chapter 10? Thank you!

Hello Adam, welcome to Librivox. I hope you will enjoy here. Chapter 11 is all yours. Seeing that you already submited your one- minute test recording, could you just let us know under which name you would like to be credited in the catalog. Have fun,
Stav.

This story gets more and more interesting.
Here are a few things to look at in Chapter 8:
Right at the beginning, please cut the time before you start to .5-1 second. Also, if you can cut down on the noise at the beginning it would be good.
9:14.5 and I must add that I am struck myself with the unfitness Left out the word myself. I think it adds emphasis to the message if it is in there.
11:36 For I assure you they were entirely oblivious of the poor departed in the excitement of small-talk. You said to. Again I think it makes a difference.
12:45 You will have your work cut out for you, my poor Danford; You say dear. Again, a subtle difference of meaning.
15:28.5 their incapacity even to conceive? I heard that
16:06.5 retorted Mowbray A stumble on retorted.
16:17.5 been trained to convert human brains into ingots of gold, Stumble on ingots
17:08 and it would not hear any of our suggestions. Missed saying any
Also, there is quite a bit of noise, especially in the first two thirds of the recording. You can see it on the visuals in Audacity. I think that a run through Noise Reduction would help. I did a test run and it helped quite a bit. However, it didn't correct the noise in the first 'blank' space at the beginning. A noise reduction helps there, but doesn't take out all of it.
Also, your volume level is right at the high level, at 91.7 (92 being the highest acceptable level). You could try decreasing the mic input level in Audacity, and see if that helps, it should.
Keep up the hard work,
Wayne

I have credited it as "Adam Thompson" in the recording, so if it's OK use that.
Thanks.
