Hello! You can certainly have chapter 10, and thank you for claiming! I have a few suggestions before you dive in to recording it:
First, it will be helpful to record a 1-minute test and post it to the Listeners & Editors Wanted forum for feedback. It's not an audition, and it's not required, but it will help you make sure that the tech specs are set up properly with your recording software.
Second, chapter 10 is pretty lengthy, so once you're all squared away with the 1-minute test, I'd recommend getting your feet wet by recording something shorter first, maybe around 1,700 words or fewer. It can be one of the shorter chapters of this book, or maybe another project that strikes your fancy. Something for one of the poetry collections in the Short Works (Poetry & Prose) forum can be a good place to start.
You have two months to record chapter 10, so that should give you plenty of time to start off with a shorter recording and get familiar with the editing process before you take on a lengthier chapter. In the meantime, let me know if you have any questions!
