Section 88, please.
Not feeling well. I'll get back to work as soon as possible. My LibriVox: https://librivox.org/sections/readers/13278

I would like to claim section 8. If I am successful, this will be my first recording for Librivox. I submitted a one minute test recording to the appropriate forum a couple of minutes ago, and hope to get some feedback on that in the next few days. My longer term goal is to record the novel The Secret Agent by Joseph Conrad as a solo project, but I do see the sense in biting off a smaller chunk than that to begin with.
If possible, I would like to be acknowledged as "Peter Dann" (my real name), with a link to my personal website, which is peterdannauthor.com.

Ha! I just went from your Secret Agent post to this one, so I know all about you.
Here's your catalog page: https://librivox.org/reader/15664
You can keep track of your assigned sections there. (Click on Reader section details to see each section.)
To get to this link yourself, use your name in any Magic Window in which you have an assigned section. Open your name link in a new tab/window (if you click on it directly, it opens right in the Magic Window).
Your test has been OK'd, so go ahead and dig in. Thank you!

Thank you!
Before I go ahead and record, I would like to double-check how we are to refer to chapters in the recordings for this work. The instructions for the work indicate that we are to announce a chapter number, but not a part number. The Caxtons has 18 "parts" and each of those has a "Chapter 3".
Is each of these "chapter 3" instances to be announced simply as "chapter 3", or as, say, "Part One, Chapter 3", "Part Two, Chapter 3" etc?
The instructions look very clear (ie, reader should not mention of Part Number at all) and one already recorded section that I listened to followed this rule. However, I have listened to other Librivox recordings in the past that did announce sections in terms of "parts" and "chapters", so thought I'd better double-check.

Err, the instructions are clear, yes - but now that I look at it, it really should be "part [number] chapter [number]" in the intro and end wording.
I'm thinking I can probably let the first 3 go, since they're part 1. It's more critical to get the parts on the subsequent ones, I think.
Thanks for catching that!
