Sorry, I had lost track of it for a couple of days, then I had a bunch of projects finish up, so I have been playing a little bit of hooky. I will have this one done within a few days.
What? You mean you have a life outside of Librivox?

Immense appreciation for the PL-ing!! 🌸🌼

In going over this section for my self-PL, had to break up listening into 3 sessions. Coming on the heels of reading it made the material feel a bit (?!?) tedious. I wish Carr had given his example of the soldier and the skylark earlier instead of waiting until nearly the end; seems as if that would have been helpful. Ah well, there's a reason I didn't major in Physics....

I do have a life outside of LibriVox! Who would have thought it possible!

This book of Carr's, and the other one I just cataloged, have been a challenge to understand, but I am liking them all the same!

Thank you!
Ann

More confused than ever, but Chapter 1 is finally recorded. Must edit.

Thanks, Todd

Okay, here is Chapter 1. Length now 50:30, which is 20 minutes less than my raw recording.

The author isn't related to John Dickenson Carr who wrote all the Locked Room Mysteries, is he? I am so confused!!

Thanks, Todd

Oh my gosh, Todd, I think you called it: they certainly COULD be related!

Reading this gave new meaning to the phrase, "Onward, through the fog."
