Thank you for that - you've got a lovely, clear voice and I'm looking forward to hearing you read.
I'm afraid there are a few things that still need to be ironed out in the recording process, however. The first is that files need to be uploaded as mono files rather than stereo. You can either record the original file in mono or convert the recorded stereo to mono as you prefer, but it needs to be a mono recording.
The file is too quiet and needs amplifying by 8.5dB. If you're using Audacity, you can test the loudness with Replaygain and if you're using Adobe Audition you can use EBU R128 - I'm afraid those are the only two audio editors I know so can't tell you how to do it on others.
The filename is incorrect - fortunately nobody else uploaded another one with the same name as yours so I still got to hear it, but the 1-minute test page suggests a filename of test_yourforumname.mp3 so in your case should be test_rperrone051.mp3 .
Please use the test text on the wiki page - that's not random text but includes a lot of the trouble sounds such as "p" "th" and "-s" that'll give your audio equipment a good workout.
Please also post about your test (when you've sorted the points above) to this forum:
viewforum.php?f=21 - that's better than doing it here because (a) when you read a different book people will know where to check for your test and (b) there are a lot of people there who are better at explaining audio issues than I am. That said, feel free to post here as well if you want me to take a look.
Don't be discouraged though! These are small points and easily dealt with. More importantly, you're a clear reader and I hope you'll enjoy reading with Librivox.

Super. You now have your own reader page at
https://librivox.org/reader/15406 and I've allocated section 43 to you.
Cheers,
