Thank you Todd!

Guess I'll need to get my own section in next! :)

As this is my first project, just a quick question--in the newbie recording, I didn't see any guidance regarding de-breathing. Is doing so necessary, or can breaths be left in?

Where did you get that idea from?

If that was recommended somewhere (most likely not on LV), that person is an idiot and you can quote me.

Of course there are levels here. If you breathe like you've just been dragged under water by a crocodile and you're trying to find the right spot between its ribs to push your knife in, we may want to look into this.
If you breathe like the average human being at rest, you can leave it well alone. Your breathing makes you sound less of a text-to-speech program, which is a good thing around here. :D

That is perhaps the funniest description of loud breathing I have ever heard, and I want to thank you for making me laugh as hard as I did.

It was really more of a passing concern--it wasn't something anyone told me. I appreciate the feedback!

This is part 1 of James Oliver--I ran it through checker, and it seemed to indicate the volume and everything was okay. If I need to make any changes or re-record the segment, let me know!

Thanks for PLing Kevin!

Hi there Sid and welcome to LV and to this project!

I see you have just arrived, so the first thing you should do is your one-minute test. Your "welcome email" has details about how, what, where, why... Post it over in the "Listeners and Editors Wanted" forum, one of our experienced readers will come and have a look, or rather: listen.

In the meantime, I have reserved section 22 for you for one month to get your test done. Please get back to me when your test has received an [OK] and I'll give that section to you "for real".

Have fun on here! :D
Cheers, Ava.

Hi Ava,

Sid here again. I did my one minute test and got some feedback because I was at 92.1. I lowered the input and recorded and posted again, but I have yet to receive feedback. Just thought I'd update you.

Thanks,
Sid
